Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Glenn Moore is a comedian, actor and one of the best and most prolific joke writers in the country.

Glenn is a regular face on TV, having appeared on the likes of Live At The Apollo (BBC), Have I Got News For You (BBC), Mock The Week (BBC & TLC) and 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4). He has his own Sky and Now TV stand-up special Will You Still Need Me, Will You Still Feed Me, Glenn I’m Sixty Moore. He’s also been a regular guest on The Great American Joke Off (CW network) in the US.

His own Radio 4 comedy series ‘Glenn Moore’s Almanac’ was nominated for Best Stand Up at the BBC Audio Drama Awards. He’s also been one quarter of the ARIA-winning Dave Berry Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio, the UK’s biggest commercial radio breakfast show.

He’s appeared regularly on The News Quiz (Radio 4), and other major Radio 4 shows like Just A Minute and The Unbelievable Truth, and has guest-hosted The Now Show.

Glenn is part of two weekly award-winning podcasts: he hosts the UK’s most listened-to gaming podcast Button Boys, with fellow stand ups Sarah Keyworth and Pierre Novellie. With the latter, he also co-hosts Budpod.

Glenn’s most recent Fringe show Please Sir, Glenn I Have Some Moore was one of the best reviewed of the festival, as was his 2022 show, which received rave five star reviews from the likes of The Mail on Sunday and Chortle. It was also nominated for Best Show at the Chortle Awards. His critically-acclaimed stand-up show Glenn, Glenn, Glenn, How Do You Like It, How Do You Like It was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award. He was named one of Just For Laughs’ New Faces in Montreal in 2023. Following his successful Fringe and tour run Glenn took Please Sir, Glenn I Have Some Moore to Melbourne Comedy Festival. 

He has written for numerous TV shows including The Mash Report (BBC) and Fantasy Football League (Sky), and has been a staff writer on the sketch comedy show Scrambled (CITV).

Before comedy he was a newsreader for television and radio, for the likes of Sky News, LBC and Capital.
